Amy Zitny has over 10 years of experience focused specifically in healthcare architecture. Throughout her career she has led design, documentation, and construction efforts on multiple project scales from small tenant improvements to a 1.8 million-square-foot acute care replacement hospital. Amy especially enjoys interacting with the end-users to create spaces that are effective and unique to each client’s needs. Her most recent accomplishment included becoming the youngest Board-Certified Healthcare Architect in the state of Arizona..

With both clinical and business expertise, Kim Post, DNP, MBA, RN, fosters a sense of collaboration among the healthcare team in an environment focused on clinical quality, safety and an exceptional patient experience. Her strong collaborative skills with the healthcare team enhance the organization’s ability to work toward the common goal of exceptional patient care in partnership with HonorHealth physicians.

Kim joined then-named Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in 1991 as a staff nurse and has worked her way up through the growing HonorHealth organization to her current position. She completed her doctorate in nursing practice at Case Western Reserve University, an executive fellowship at the Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania and an MBA at the University of Phoenix.

Mary Bernardo
Chief Operating Officer
Tenet Healthcare (Abrazo Medical Group)

Mary Bernardo has over fourteen years’ professional experience in developing and managing large, high-preforming, multisite physician organizations. She currently serves as the chief operational officer for Abrazo Medical Group and Carondelet Medical Group (Tenet Physician Resources-Arizona Market). Mary has been with Tenet since 2017. In 2019, she was the recipient of the Executive of the Year award given to an Abrazo leader who has positively impacted the health care system. Bernardo enjoys collaborating with national and senior leadership to develop medical group strategy and business plans that are in line with organization’s financial and strategic goals.

Mary was summa cum laude when she received her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Colorado State University. In 2007, she received her Master of Business Administration and Masters of Health Sector Management degrees from Arizona State University. She also completed her administrative fellowship from the Cleveland Clinic before moving back to Arizona to work for Dignity Health as a Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development from 2008 – 2017. Mary is also an accomplished and active equestrian where she and her horse “Out of Office” received the 2020 Horse of the Year Award from the Arizona Hunter Jumper Association.
